ENGINE 1
This is our newest unit Engine 1 -2004
Pierce Saber. It was received in December and placed in service.
It is our primary unit. It has a 1250 gpm pump with a 1000 gallon
booster tank. it also carries the Jaws of Life with a pre connected
hydraulic hose reel. The unit has a telescoping flood light on the cab
with four 1500 watt lights. It is powered by a 7.5kw diesel generator. This apparatus is the first out Engine on anything in our district. This
Engine is equipped with an AED because we sometime run First Response
calls with the Medic unit in our district. |

ENGINE 2
This is our Engine 2. It’s a 1995 Pierce Saber
equipped with a 1,250 GPM two stage Waterous pump and with 1,000 gallon
booster tank. It has two 200’ 1 ¾" speed lays with high volume
low pressure nozzles, 200’ ¾" booster reel, 200’ 2 ½"
attack line, 100’ 1 ½" bumper mount jump line, 1,000’ of
5" LDH, and 600’ 3" supply line. The Engine is capable of
carrying up to 6 personnel and everyone except the driver can pack out. |

TANKER 1
This is our Tanker 1. Its a 2007 Pierce International equipped with a 500 GPM
pump and a 1800 gallon booster tank. It’s equipped
with a 12" quick dump valve, a 2,000 gallon dump tank, two 5"
hard suction hose, a low level strainer and a hose bed with 1200 feet of
5 " hose. This truck responds on mutual Aid
also.

SQUAD 1
This is our Rescue Unit, Squad 1. This Unit was
manufactured in 1996 by American Fire & Rescue. The chassis was
manufactured by Spartan. This unit handles our Air demands with a 6
Cylinder 6000psi cascade system. It also has a 25kw PTO Generator with a
25 ft, 4 head light tower. This unit carries a full line of extrication
equipment.

Truck 1
2005 Dodge 2500 4x4 Diesel - This truck is
used for running around, going to training class, and a personnel
carrier. We also carry it to the beach for the State Fireman Convention
in July. |

BRUSH 1
This is our Brush 1. It’s a 1985 Chevrolet 3500 Diesel. This truck
is equipped with a 200 gallon skid unit and a 200 GPM Waterous gasoline
engine pump. It has 275’ of 5/8"
booster reel hose, 100’ of 1 ½" hose, and 150’ of 1" forestry
hose. We picked up the truck from the S C Forestry Service and built the
brush truck ourselves. It’s our first brush truck out on brush fires
in our district beside Engine 2.
